Kombucha Update: Fruity Flavored Kombucha

I love Kombucha. Just enough tang and sweetness to satisfy your thirst.  This time I decided to make some flavored Kombucha.  This is super easy.  All you need is some freshly brewed Kombucha.  Here is the Basic Kombucha recipe that I use. When your Kombucha is ready to be bottled, prepare your bottles by filling them with fruit. You can add anything you like and you can mix them too.  Okay, so these are not really recipes but ideas of how you can flavor your Kombucha.  Most turned out to be similar to a delicious summer iced tea.

Nectarine Kombucha
A very refreshing Kombucha flavor.  It is slightly sweet with a hint of nectarine.

  • half a nectarine
  • Kombucha to fill bottle

Blueberry Kombucha
If you like have a sweeter Kombucha use blueberries. It will give the Kombucha a sweet rich flavor.  The blueberries turn your Kombucha a nice purple hue.

  • about 1/2 cup of frozen/fresh blueberries
  • Kombucha to fill bottle

Chia seed Fresca Kombucha
Although this wasn’t my favourite Kombucha flavor it did add a nice texture to the drink. It would be good to add some fruit to this flavour.

  • 1-2 tbsp of Chia seeds
  • Kombucha to fill the bottle
