Pea Cookies

This recipe is for anyone trying to sneak in some veggies in their kids meals. Or trying to stay healthy before all the holiday goodies.

For this recipe, you need banana, peas (yes peas! those green frozen ones), cocoa powder and oats.

Blend oats cocoa powder in a food processor until finely ground and set aside.

Blend the peas and bananas together in the food processor. Blend until smooth. Add the oat and cocoa mixture and continue to blend.

Portion out with a spoon or cookie scoop. Bake in a 350 Degree F oven for 10-15 minutes.

Enjoy. They are a little savory tasting but mostly taste like a healthy cookie. Maybe it can satisfy your sweet tooth while you wait for the holiday goodies.

  • two bananas (frozen and defrosted works)
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees F.
Blend the oats and cocoa powder in the food processor until finely ground. Set aside.
Blend the peas and bananas until smooth.
Add the oat and cocoa mixture to the food processor and combine well.
Portion out the cookies on a parchment lined tray.
Bake cookies for 10-15 minutes
Enjoy as a healthy snack.
