Vegan Cheese-y Pasta Sauce

Chop and cook potatoes and carrots in a pot of water until they are fork tender.


In the blender (or pot if you are using an immersion blender), blend the carrots, potatoes, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 cup nutritional yeast, 2 cloves if garlic and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Blend until it is nice and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

Add this pasta sauce to any pasta. Cook pasta as directed on box or package. I used gnocchi but I think I should have used a wheat pasta since it got very mushy.


Enjoy this cheesy pasta sauce!

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup nutritional yeast
  • salt and pepper to taste
