Vietnamese Egg Coffee

You know I love coffee and trying new coffee recipes. Well I have been wanting to try this recipe out for a while, Vietnamese egg coffee.

This is a simple recipe you can try if you want to add a little creaminess to your coffee.

Start by brewing a cup of coffee.

In a bowl, beat together your egg yolk and condensed milk until frothy.

Gently pour over your coffee and enjoy. The egg was not overpowering and next time I would use less coffee than I did. The egg gave the coffee more of a richer flavor as if you were adding some heavy cream. There was enough sweetness from the condensed milk. I did enjoy this and next time I would try to beat the egg a little more to get it even frothier.

Vietnamese Egg Coffee

  • 2 tsp condensed milk
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 -2 cups of coffee

Brew some strong coffee. In a bowl, beat together the egg yolk and condensed milk until frothy. Gently pour over your coffee. Enjoy.
