Refreshing Lavender Latte Cold Brew Coffee

Summer is coming and what better way to enjoy summer than with a nice refreshing cold cup of coffee.  Lately I have been enjoying making cold brew coffee. It is easy, can store for store for a long time and is nice and refreshing on a hot summer day.  This is what I do to make it.

Grind your favorite coffee. I used a medium coarse grind.

Put it in a jar or jug and add cold water.  Allow to sit over night.

Strain using a coffee filter.

Add your favorite flavors. I used lavender simple syrup and milk. If you want to know how I made the lavender syrup, click here.

Sip and enjoy.  You can even add more ice if you want it to be extra cold.

Refreshing Lavender Latte Cold Brew Coffee

  • 1 1/3 cup fresh ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold water

To make the cold brew, grind 1 1/3 cup of your favorite coffee.   I used medium coarseness.  Place it in a jar or jug and pour in 4 cups of cold water.  Allow to sit overnight.  Strain using a coffee filter.  Cold brew can last 2 weeks but it will be gone before you know it.

To make the latte,  pour 1 cup of cold brew coffee.  Add 2 tbsp of lavender simple syrup.  Pour in 1/4 cup of milk and mix well.  Enjoy over ice or plain. You can even blend it with ice to make a slushy.
