Easy Berry Tiramisu

This dessert is perfect to make your loved ones for Valentines Day or a fun activity to do with your kids on Family Day or a fun date night activity.

This dessert takes about 20 minutes to make and can be made the night before.  You will need Nilla cookies (or lady fingers), whipping cream (or heavy cream), marscapone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, berries and fresh juice.

Add sugar and vanilla to the whipping cream. Beat it until soft peaks form (yes I over beat them). Fold in the mascarpone cheese. berry-tiramisu-4Dip the Nilla cookies in juice. You don’t them to soak too long.  Just make sure both sides are moist.

berry-tiramisu-5On top of this spread a layer of mascarpone cheese layer.  Then layer the berries on top.

This is a great dessert to do with your kids or a fun date night activity. You can have them make their own desserts in mason jars.

Chill this for a couple hours in the fridge or overnight.

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • berry juice
  • fresh berries of your choice (slice them if necessary)

Add sugar and vanilla to the whipping cream. Beat cream until soft peaks (about 5 minutes). Fold in the mascarpone cheese. Dip the Nilla wafers into some juice. You do not need to soak it, just moisten on both sides. Place a layer of Nilla wafers onto the bottom of the pan. On top add a layer of cream.  Top it with berries. Add a second layer Nilla wafers and then add a layer of cream.  For the final layer decorate with the berries.  Chill for a couple hours or overnight.  This dessert can be made in mason jars. It can be a fun activity for kids or a great date idea.
