The PSL or pumpkin spiced latte is a popular drink at this time of year. When I tried to think of something to make for this post, I said why not try to make it like everyone else? But I didn’t want to be like every one else. I wanted to make a twist on this recipe….. I made this with condensed coconut milk!
I was a Save on Foods the other day when I ran into sweetened condensed milk. I needed to try it because I was planning on making it one day.
When I opened it up, it was not what I expected. The condensed milk was stiff, like coconut fat at the top of coconut milk. The taste, well it did taste like coconut butter but more like coconut oil.
To make this recipe you will need to mix together pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and the sweetened condensed coconut milk.
It looks kind of chunky and funky, but it tastes like pumpkin pie.
To make your latte, add coffee, soya milk and 2 or more tsp of the pumpkin spice paste. It is creamy and spicy with a hint of pumpkin flavor. I bet this paste would be a good spread on toast or in your morning oatmeal. Enjoy!
Pumpkin Spice Latte Paste
For the pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
- 3/4 tsp Allspice, ground
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
- 3/4 tsp Cloves, ground
- 1 tsp Nutmeg, ground
For the paste
- 1 can of sweetened condensed coconut milk
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
Combine the condensed milk, pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin puree in a bowl. Store in an air tight container in the fridge for 1 week.
Enjoy with a soy latte. Make a latte of your choice by adding soya milk and coffee to a mug. Add 2 or more tsp of the PSL spice to your coffee. Stir and enjoy.
This would also be good spread on toast or added to your oatmeal.

😮 can’t believe that paste can turn into liquidy PSL! I thought even with only 2 spoons, it’d still be chunky. Cool!
