Oreo Pudding Dessert

My son loves oreos and love to bake. We found this recipe that combines the two. Unfortunately he didn’t like this much.

This is a simple recipe that combines oreo cookies and chocolate pudding. You can even make this simpler by making instant pudding instead.

The first step is to prepare the pudding since you want this to be cool. Follow the package directions.

While you are making the pudding, prepare some oreo cookie crumbs by placing about 15-20 oreos in a bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.

To the prepare pudding, add about 4 oz of cream cheese. This will make the pudding richer. Set the pudding aside to cool.

Prepare the whipping cream in a bowl. To the whipping cream add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder and 1 tbsp of icing sugar. Beat until stiff peaks. Mix the whipping cream with the cooled pudding.

To assemble, place one layer of oreo crumbs, then a layer of pudding, then another layer or cookies and final layer of pudding.

Decorate the dessert with a few oreo crumbs. And get your lego men to defend the dessert until it is ready to eat. Chill for a couple hours or over night and enjoy. You can top with some more oreo cookies to add a crunch as the layers of cookies get soft.
