Air Fryer Pasta Chips

I’ve been seeing pasta chips all over the internet and thought it was an interesting idea. I wanted to try it out since it sounded easy. All you need is pasta, garlic powder, spices, parmesan cheese and olive oil.

Start by cooking the pasta in salted water as directed by package (8-10 minutes). You want the pasta to be al dente. Once the pasta is cooked, drain well. Coat pasta with olive oil, parmesan cheese, garlic powder and your favourite spices. Play around with the quantities of the parmesan cheese, garlic powder and spices to get your favourite combination.

Preheat your air fryer for 400 degrees C. Cook pasta for about 8-10 minutes or when golden and crispy. Each is air fryer is different so you want to keep an eye on it. Make sure to give it a shake half-way through the cooking process. Of course with a 2 month old, I ended up leaving it a bit longer, didn’t shake it but it still turned out ok. I wish I had the chance to shake it since some of the pieces was a bit more toasted than other ones.

Let cool on a paper towel. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
