This week the kid in me wanted to come out and play. I wanted slime, but I also wanted to make something that was toddler friendly. I found this recipe and it was so easy I decided to try it out.
All you need is instant vanilla pudding and cornstarch.
Mix the instant pudding and about half the corn starch in a bowl.
Add cornstarch until it comes together into a ball and is not too sticky.
This is the final result. It is fun to use, but not like the normal slime. More like play dough. It tastes meh. So don’t eat it.
I decided to experiment and added cheerios to it. It was something like crunchy slime. However don’t leave the cheerios too long because the cheerios become soft.
Overall it is a pretty cool recipe and I am sure that it would be great for when my baby gets older. For now it is a great stress relief ball for me!
Pudding Slime https://thesoccermomblog.com/edible-pudding-slime/
- 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup corn starch
- 1/3 cup warm water
Add the instant pudding and half the cornstarch into a bowl. Add the water. Slowly mix in the remaining cornstarch until it forms a ball and isn’t too sticky. And that’s it. Experiment with adding food coloring and edibles such as cheerios.
