Summer and warmer weather is just around the corner. This just means it is time for ice cream! Okay ice cream is for all year long but I enjoy it best in the summer. My favorite ice cream flavor is green tea ice cream. I found this super easy recipe that only takes 3 ingredients and 5 simple steps. You don’t even need an ice cream maker to make it. All you need is a blender or a beater.
The 3 ingredients for this recipe are whipping cream, condensed milk and matcha powder.
Step 1: Pour everything into the blender. I use a vitamix. (I am making a double batch in the pictures)
Step 2: Blend slowly and gradually increase the speed until the mixture thickens. Don’t over mix because you will get butter.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a freezer safe container.
Step 4: Freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
Step 5: Eat the ice cream.
3 Ingredient Blender Green Tea Ice Cream
- 250 ml of whipping cream
- 1 can of condensed milk (300 ml)
- 2 tbsp of matcha powder
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend slowly and gradually increase the speed until the mixture thickens. You can also whip this with a beater until fluffy. Pour into a freezer safe container. Freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
If you are using a beater, beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks and the freeze.
