Weird and bizarre food trends come up on social media all the time. Unicorn style foods, smoothie bowls and black coloured foods. A strange Halloween tweet came out recently and it had people trying this crazy creation. I decided to give this a try and make it for myself. Candy Corn Pizza. Yes, you heard it candy corn and pizza.

There is a love-hate relationship with candy corn. Some people love this holiday sweet while other despise it. I wouldn’t say its my favorite but I will eat them. Finding them in stores was challenging. Many places I searched didn’t have them. Your best bet will be in the bulk candy section.

Luckily, I found some candy corn and individual frozen cheese pizza.  I added the candy corn and baked it. The candy corn melted and oozed everywhere. The finished pizza did not look very appetizing. I cut a slice and tried a bite.

It was…… interesting. A bit sweet and salty. The candy corn hardened and because chewy.  I would call it a savoury dessert pizza and its most likely I would not make this again. Some trends should not be trendy. Don’t try this at home.
