My nephew loves pickles. He can eat them everyday and all the time so I wanted to make some homemade pickles for him to enjoy. This is an easy recipe that doesn’t require a lot of ingredients.
First cut the cucumbers in half and place in jar. I like placing them with the insides facing outwards to give it an esthetic look.
In a sauce pan, combine 1/2 cup white vinegar, 1 1/2 cup water, 1 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar and 2 tablespoons of pickling spice. Bring mixture to a boil.

Pour hot liquid into jar and close lid. Let the cucumbers pickle for at least 2 weeks. Enjoy!
