Chocolate Coffee Beans

Yesterday I spent my Valentines day sick at home. I tried to be productive but that didn’t happen.  In the end I was able to make a blog post.

This is a super simple recipe for those days that you just are craving a sweet treat.  And you know me. I love coffee.

Place chocolate chips on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.  I grouped the chocolate chips in groups of three since I thought that looked cute.

Heat up the oven to about 300 degrees. Place the cookie sheet in the oven for about 3 minutes or until the chocolate chips melt.

Remove from the oven and place a coffee bean in the center of each group of chocolate.  Place the cookie sheet into the fridge to cool for about 30 minutes.

When the chocolate has hardened, remove from the cookie sheet and munch away.  These are great for snacking but just don’t eat too many or you will be awake all night.

Chocolate Coffee Beans

  • milk chocolate chips
  • coffee beans

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.  Place chocolate chips on a parchment paper covered baking tray. Group them in threes for a cute flower effect.  Place in the oven for about 2-3 min, just until the chocolate chips melt.  Place a coffee bean in the center of eat flower.  Put the cookie sheet in the fridge to cool. (about 30 min).  After they are cooled, you can remove them and put them in a cute box.

Hope you enjoyed your Valentines Day.
