So some days you just don’t have time to cook. I wanted to try to cook something simple and yummy. I would say this is great for a weekday meal, although cook time is about an hour so you need to plan ahead so you wont be eating at midnight.
I made this recipe with two pork shoulder steaks. They were about 3/4 of an inch thick.
To this, make one package of Au Jus and pour on top of the steaks.
Cover with aluminum foil and braise in the oven for about 60 minutes.
The steaks don’t look the prettiest when they are done but they are super tasty and soft.
Serve with some rice and veggies. You can pour the Au jus sauce on top of your rice. YUM
Au Jus Braised Pork Should Steaks
- 2 Pork Shoulder Steaks
- 1 package of Au Jus (2 cups of liquid)
- Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 375 Degrees. Place the pork shoulder in a casserole dish or baking tray. Pour the Au Jus on top of the steaks. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes. Serve with rice, pasta or potatoes and some veggies.
