Almond Flour Pancakes

We love breakfast at our household. Here is an easy recipe to try when you want to avoid flour or if you know someone who is gluten intolerant. You can whip up this recipe easily and it satisfies your pancake cravings.

For this recipe, you need almond flour, eggs, vanilla, maple syrup, baking powder and milk. Next time I might do half almond and half all purpose flour to see how it works.

Mix all the ingredients together and pan fry. The batter should be thick just like regular pancake batter.

At first it doesn’t look like pancakes but they taste pretty close.

Enjoy with some maple syrup or other pancake toppings.

  • 1 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup milk or milk alternative
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp of maple syrup

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Add more milk if needed. Heat your pan with a little butter. Pan fry your pancakes until golden brown on both sides.

Serve with maple syrup or other toppings. Enjoy.
