Here is easy way to make Valentines a little more special.  These are really simple to make ahead of time and a great activity to do with your kids.  Keep these in your freezer until you are ready to use them.

You will need a can of whipping cream, sprinkles and hot cocoa. First make some heart shapes on parchment paper.

It works best if you can make the whipping cream thick.  So layer it twice. I learned from experience since the smaller ones melt way too fast.

Then you can decorate with some sprinkles. I found some wafer hearts in my cupboard and used them too. 

Put them in the freezer for a couple hours until frozen. The hearts on the left are the ones that were too thin. The ones one the right worked better since I really stacked the whipping cream to make them thick.

When you are ready, make your loved ones a nice hot cup of cocoa and top it off with a heart.   Enjoy the evening watching your favorite movie and a nice hot cup of cocoa.
