Three Ingredient Banana Cookies

Well it is that time of year again. BACK TO SCHOOL.  To make it a little more bearable why not make some yummy treat to take to school?  I ran across this recipe and wanted to try it out.  It sounds super easy and doable. All you need are bananas, oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Not only is this recipe easy to make it only takes about 20 minutes. Mash 2 ripe bananas, mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Divide into 12 cookies.

Bake at 350 Degrees until the cookies start browning. About 15 minutes. And you are done.  These cookies taste best when they are freshly made. I kept mine in the fridge which was a bad idea since the cookies became mushy and soggy. I think I might experiment with the amount of oatmeal since I don’t particularly like the texture. It was almost too mushy for me. I might also add a little coconut sugar to see how that helps. You can also experiment with nuts and spices or dried fruit.Banana Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees. Mash bananas and mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips.  Divide into 12 cookies. Bake cookies for about 15-20 minutes until the tops start browning.  Remove from the heat and enjoy.  You can also replace the chocolate chips with nuts or raisins and add spices to change the flavor.
