Well it is that time of year again. BACK TO SCHOOL. To make it a little more bearable why not make some yummy treat to take to school? I ran across this recipe and wanted to try it out. It sounds super easy and doable. All you need are bananas, oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Not only is this recipe easy to make it only takes about 20 minutes. Mash 2 ripe bananas, mix in oatmeal and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 Degrees until the cookies start browning. About 15 minutes. And you are done. These cookies taste best when they are freshly made. I kept mine in the fridge which was a bad idea since the cookies became mushy and soggy. I think I might experiment with the amount of oatmeal since I don’t particularly like the texture. It was almost too mushy for me. I might also add a little coconut sugar to see how that helps. You can also experiment with nuts and spices or dried fruit.
