Creme Crackle is a small dessert cafe in Vancouver. They are known for their vast variety of creme brûlée flavours. They also serve delicious authentic Belgian liège waffles.
There are many different choices that you can choose from. Choices range from frosted flakes to earl grey. They even have vegan choices as well! This was great news for me since I have been cutting out milk from my diet and I’ve been missing all the desserts.
I chose two flavours; ferror rocher and passion fruit (vegan choice). I took them “to go” so I would have dessert after dinner. The creme brûlée crust was done right in front of you with a blow torch and they used returnable mason jars. For midday snack, I got one of their plain waffles. The waffle was delicious and just how I liked them. Slightly dense with a nice crust. It also had just the perfect amount of sweetness as well.
Also at the store, are macarons. They came in lots of different shapes and were very adorable. I wanted to try them but I had a lot of sweets already.
The creme brûlée and waffles were really delicious and worth making the trip to this part of town. I’m already trying to think of when I will be in that area next so I can try out their other flavours!
