This is a simple recreation of a classic Chinese Spaghetti Bolognese dish. It is sweeter than your traditional bolognese.
Heat up a pan on medium heat. Add 1 tbsp oil and ground beef. Break up the ground beef and cook for 5-8 minutes or until done. Add salt and pepper. Set aside.
Dice up the carrots, and onion. Mince 2 cloves of garlic. Heat up a pan on medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil. Cook the onions and carrot for 2-3 min until it softens. Add the minced garlic. Saute for another minute. Add bay leaves and diced tomatoes. Add 1/4 cup ketchup and ground beef. Let sauce simmer.
In a pot of boiling water, add salt and 1/4 lb Spaghetti. Boil according to the box or for about 10 minutes. When the spaghetti is cooked add sauce and stir. Put the spaghetti into a baking dish. Top with fresh Parmesan or mozzarella cheese. Bake in a 400 degree oven until cheese has melted.
