My kid was introduced to Zobomofoo and could not stop talking about going to Animal Junction. We decided to create his own Animal Junction themed birthday and geared it towards more of a  jungle animal vibe.

For the venue, we rented out Elefun Play Center in Coquitlam BC. They had a fun themed play area that had tons of animals on the wall making it the perfect venue for the birthday.

The snacks for the party consisted of animal crackers, Pokemon cookies, Lottie’s Koala March, popcorn, Goldfish Crisps and of course my kiddo’s favourite strawberry Pocky sticks. I created a cute sign that said “Animal Jungle Mix – Grab a Scoop and Make Your Own Jungle Mix”. 

For the cupcakes, I did not have time to bake so I used Betty Crocker’s Super Moist Party Rainbow mix. It made the perfect amount of cupcakes (22).  For the icing, I made a simple cream cheese icing with green food colouring. Pipe the icing with a star tip to make fake grass. The cupcake topper was a plastic animal toy! Easy Peasy. The best part was each kid (or adult) was able to take home their creature of choice.

The goodie bags were filled with more animal themed gifts; stickers, a watercolour book and more.
