Traditionally moussaka is a Greek dish but I found a recipe with an Asian twist.
Start by making the white sauce by mixing the 1 cup cream, 125g cream cheese, 1 egg and 1/2 cup water. Blend with an immersion blender.
On the stovetop, heat up the white sauce until thickened. Turn off and remove from heat. Set aside while you prepare the other ingredients.

Begin by preparing the eggplant. Slice the eggplant and pan fry with oil until both sides are brown and soft. Set aside until assembly.

In the same pan, add the onion and garlic. Saute for 2-3 min and then add the minced lamb. Cook for another couple minutes before adding the oyster sauce, fish sauce and chicken bouillon. Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and simmer until thick.


Line a non-stick baking tray with layers of eggplant, and ground lamb. On the top add the white sauce and the grated mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350f for 25 min. Let it sit for 15 min before serving.

- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1/3 cup Parmesan grated
