Chicken Feta Burger

This is a fast and easy way to add something different to your burgers. The feta cheese can be swapped with other types of cheese. But the secret to making these burgers juicy is adding apples.

To make these burgers, grate some apples, and onions. I left the peels on the apples but if you wish to remove them, you can.

In a bowl, add the apples, onion, garlic, ground chicken breast, salt and pepper. Mix well

Cut your feta into about 1/2 in thick slices. You can cut them smaller if you want.

Form burger patties and stuff each one with a slice of feta. Make sure you make your patties thin as you will be adding a second patty on top.

Seal the edges and bake. If you have a BBQ, you can cook on a BBQ. The nice thing about feta is it doesn’t ooze out, but if you want an oozier cheese switch to cheddar or mozzarella.

Bake for 35 minutes. If you want grill marks, you can quickly toss on a grill to sear.

You get a nice chunk of feta with each bite and you won’t notice there is apple in your burger.
