Feijoada is commonly eaten year round in Brazil. It is super easy to make and pretty versatile. Making it in an instant pot makes it even easier.

Presoak the beans overnight.

Start the rest of the feijoada by cutting and pan frying the bacon until slightly crispy. Reserve the bacon grease for the farofa. Add the onions to the pan and let it brown.

Slice the sausages and slightly sear the ribs. Put everything in the instant pot and cook for 2 hours.

When done open the lid and stir the feijoada. Simmer until the feijoada has thickened.

Serve over rice with a sprinkle of farofa and slices of orange.
