I have been wanting to try this recipe but I don’t eat a lot of cereal. I was finally given a box from my grandpa so I had to try it. I tried two different cereals, one chocolate peanut butter and one honey nut cheerios.

You first need to soak the cereal in milk. I used two half pint jars and filled them with cereal and milk. I let it soak for a couple hours.

After soaking, you need to remove all the soggy cereal. You can eat the cereal or toss it.

I ended up not having much milk left. I tasted it and it was ok. Slightly sweet and a mild cereal flavor.

Then you can fill up the jar with coffee. I don’t think the lattes were very exciting. They didn’t taste like cereal but it more like coffee with a creamer. I think next time when I eat a bowl of cereal and end up with too much milk, I will make this latte again. Or perhaps try a different type of cereal. Let me know if you end up trying this.

Enjoy.
