Easy Broccoli and Salmon Alfredo Pasta

Some nights you just want an easy dinner that your kid and partner would eat. My criteria is something with protein and veggies. My current go-to is pasta because it is super easy and I know my kid would eat it. You can also find pasta that is loaded with other ingredients like spinach powder or whole grains so this makes meals a little bit easier.

Start my chopping up some broccoli or any other vegetable. Put the broccoli in a pan with some oil and water. Cook until it is soft and easy to poke through with a fork.

Add your favourite pre-made alfredo sauce and bring to a simmer.

Place some cut up salmon to the sauce and let the fish cook slowly. This should take a couple minutes depending on how thick the pieces are.

When the fish is almost cooked, open a tin of salmon and dump it into the pan. This will give the sauce an additional boost of flavour.

Stir everything together and serve over your favourite pasta.

Enjoy!
