Creamy, dairy free, egg free, tasty, noms, yum. I have finally perfected my recipe for cauliflower alfredo sauce. You won’t miss the cheese or dairy. It is also a sneaky way to get your kids to eat veggies. I think this is also great for someone who is watching their calorie intake.
What you need is cauliflower, non dairy cheese (like daiya cheese), soya milk, nutritional yeast and vegan margarine. It is a really simple and quick recipe.
Start by steaming your cauliflower. You can always do this the night before or use the microwave.
Blend…
and blend. Put everything in the blender.
Pour into a pot and heat to melt the cheese. And you are done. Quick and easy! Boil your choice of pasta and serve with your favorite meat balls and veggies.Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 cup soya milk
- 2 bags of chedder daiya cheese (about 4 cups) or another vegan cheese of your choice
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 tbsp vegan margarine or butter
- pepper
Cut the cauliflower into small pieces and steam until soft. In a blender, blend all ingredients together. Pour into a pot and heat up to melt the cheese. Add your favorite pasta, meat balls and veggies. Enjoy this creamy goodness.
